Terms & Conditions

1. About these terms

These terms govern your use of ryantayburn.com.

The website is operated by Ryan Tayburn, a sole trader based in the United Kingdom.

Email: ryan@ryantayburn.co.uk

By using this website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the website.

2. Purpose of the website

This website provides general information about my professional background, experience, capabilities and consulting services.

The content is intended to help prospective clients assess whether my experience and services may be relevant to their organisation. It does not constitute professional, legal, financial or other specialist advice.

The information published on this website is not an offer capable of acceptance and does not create a binding obligation for me to provide any service.

Using this website, contacting me or booking an introductory call does not create a client, consultancy, employment, partnership or agency relationship.

3. Services and client engagements

Descriptions of services on this website are general and illustrative. The precise services provided to each client will depend on that client’s requirements, circumstances and the terms agreed separately.

Any consulting engagement will be subject to a separate written agreement between me and the client. This may include a proposal, statement of work, consultancy agreement or other agreed document.

That separate agreement will normally define matters including:

  • the services and deliverables;

  • responsibilities and dependencies;

  • the engagement period and working arrangements;

  • fees, invoicing and payment terms;

  • expenses and applicable VAT;

  • confidentiality;

  • ownership and use of intellectual property;

  • data protection responsibilities;

  • termination rights; and

  • limitations of liability.

No consulting engagement is formed merely because someone:

  • reads information on this website;

  • contacts me;

  • books or attends an introductory meeting;

  • requests a proposal; or

  • discusses a possible engagement with me.

An engagement will begin only when the applicable written terms have been agreed by both parties in the manner specified in those terms.

If there is any inconsistency between this website, these Website Terms and a separate client agreement, the separate client agreement will govern the consulting services.

Any timescales, availability, deliverables, fees or outcomes discussed before an engagement is agreed are provisional unless expressly confirmed in the applicable written agreement.

4. Case studies and results

Case studies, performance figures and other outcomes shown on the website relate to specific organisations, projects, circumstances and periods.

They are provided to illustrate previous work and should not be interpreted as a guarantee that the same or similar results will be achieved in another organisation or engagement.

Some information may be summarised, anonymised or presented using rounded figures to protect confidential or commercially sensitive information.

5. Accuracy of information

I take reasonable care to keep the website accurate and current, but I do not guarantee that all content will always be complete, accurate or up to date.

The website may be changed, updated or withdrawn at any time without notice.

You should not make a material business, financial or operational decision solely in reliance on general information published on this website.

6. Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, the website and its original content including its copy, structure, graphics, case studies and visual presentation are owned by or licensed to Ryan Tayburn.

Client names, logos, product names and trade marks remain the property of their respective owners. Their appearance on this website does not imply endorsement, sponsorship or an ongoing commercial relationship unless expressly stated.

You may view and print pages from the website for your own personal or internal business evaluation.

You must not, without prior written permission:

  • reproduce or republish a substantial part of the website;

  • use its content for commercial purposes;

  • present its content as your own;

  • systematically scrape, extract or copy its content;

  • remove copyright, attribution or ownership notices.

Nothing in these terms transfers any intellectual-property rights to you.

7. Acceptable use

You must not use the website:

  • unlawfully or fraudulently;

  • to introduce malicious software or harmful code;

  • to attempt unauthorised access to the website, its infrastructure or associated systems;

  • in a way that could damage, disable or materially disrupt the website;

  • to infringe another person’s intellectual-property, confidentiality or privacy rights.

8. External websites and services

The website may link to third-party websites or services, including Calendly.

These services are operated independently and are governed by their own terms and privacy practices. I do not control and am not responsible for their availability, security, content or operation.

A link to another website does not necessarily represent an endorsement of that website or its operator.

9. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts liability for:

  • death or personal injury caused by negligence;

  • fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or

  • any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.

Subject to that, and to the extent permitted by law, I am not responsible for losses arising solely from:

  • reliance on general information published on the website;

  • temporary website unavailability;

  • the content or operation of third-party websites;

  • unauthorised interference with the website outside my reasonable control.

10. Privacy

Information about how I collect and use personal information is contained in the website’s Privacy Notice.

The website does not currently use advertising or behavioural analytics technologies. If that changes, the relevant notices and controls will be updated.

11. Changes to these terms

I may update these terms to reflect changes to the website, my services or applicable law.

The current version will be published on this page with its most recent revision date.

12. Governing Law

These terms and any dispute relating to the website are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, except where applicable law gives an individual the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.
